LogoFrom Tara Lohan (tara@alternet.org), Managing Editor of AlterNet:

On the heels of World Water Day last week, we launched AlterNet’s new free weekly email newsletter dedicated to water issues. You can sign up here and get the latest news, commentary, video and more in your inbox every Thursday. Thanks to those of you who have already joined and please feel free to email me with story ideas and other feedback.

You can also sign up here for AlterNet’s weekly environment newsletter.

View AlterNet’s water page and environment page.

A heads-up: I have found that much of the information on AlterNet’s water page has a certain slant. For example, you’re unlikely to find any articles extolling water privatization or criticizing Maude Barlow.
