Once again, AWRA is opening the first issues of both its bi-monthly magazine and journal for public download, as well as free registration for its first webinar of the year. The organization has a long tradition of opening its first journal issue of each year and recently added the magazine and webinar to this offering.
“Opening the first issue of each of our publications and our first webinar of the new year to the public is one of the ways we seek to advance AWRA’s mission to advance multidisciplinary water resources education, management and research,” commented AWRA President Rafael Frias. “Each of these offerings not only fulfills our mission, but offers some of the best collective multidisciplinary water resources information disseminated today.”
Since its inception, AWRA’s webinar program has grown in quality and popularity, consistently averaging a 4 out of 5 rating. The program hosts at least one webinar per month and offers 1 PDH credit to each attendee. The January 18 webinar, “Water is for Fighting Over and Other Myths About Water in the West” will find author John Fleck showing that collaboration and cooperation among the seven Colorado River basin states is far more prevalent than the media accounts would have us believe. Register for the January 18 webinar.
